Our Herbal Community

Community over Competition

Here at Healing Hills Herbals, I believe in community over competition.

This is more than a place to learn about plant medicine and herbs - it’s a space to remember who we are, reconnect with the Earth, and walk this healing path together.

I didn’t start this journey to become a big business. I started it because Mother Nature saved me. And now, I want to help others come home to that same healing - to the wild, the sacred, the intuitive… and to each other. Because we weren’t meant to do this alone.

There’s room for all of us in this circle. Every herbalist, every wildcrafter, every medicine maker brings their own unique flavor, energy, and voice.

We could all make that same tincture or tea blend - but instead, we support one another, buying from each other, cheering each other on, helping one another keep food on the table and the medicine flowing.

That’s what a true herbal village looks like.

This community is a reflection of the feminine rising - rooted in love, compassion, and collaboration, not gatekeeping or scarcity.

Within the walls of the Herbiary and the hearts of the folks that sit at the table with me, we are creating a space where herbalists can learn, grow, and connect without fear of competition.

Where we don’t just say we support local - we live it, every day.

We are small drops in a vast ocean—but when we uplift one another, we create ripples that carry far beyond what we can see.

Whether you’re just starting out or have walked this path for years, you belong here.

Your presence matters.

Your medicine matters.

And we’re so damn lucky to have you in this growing circle of healers.

Welcome home, Wild One.

Let’s rise together.

People I trust and I'm happy to share them with you all.

Below, you’ll find links to some of the incredible herbalists and healers in our community.

Follow them on social media, support the work they do, learn from their wisdom, and reach out to connect.

I also work with a few others that aren't comfortable with their information being shared online but the network is there to support you no matter what it is you're dealing with.

These are all people I trust with my own own health and wellness as well as my family, and the goal isn't to make the most money and be the best and only herbalist... it's to support you getting back to balance and sometimes that's me and other times, it's someone else.

Because this path is richer when we walk it together.

Koreena - Grounded Wellness

Koreena is a gentle soul with the most radiant smile. She is strong and what I call a gentle warrior. Her and her husband have a mixed martial arts gym west of Rimbey and she not only makes the most amazing items, but she also grows the plants that go into the items. If you follow her stories on instagram, that's where she shares most of her amazing creations. From soap, to oxymels to marshmallows... she does it all!

Christie - Miss Herb Hustler

This gal, I just adored her. She is currently doing a year long apprenticship for brain tanning and is so connected to the old ways and the land. I am so inspired by her all the time. For now, she isn't focusing on her social medias, but if you need her to blend anything up, she can! From bath salt to bear balm... she can do so much. We can even arrange how I can bring it into the Herbiary for you to pick up.

Janna - Trailer Trash Bath Co.

Janna comes from a long line of healers and women that held onto the folk healing wisdom of lifetimes. She is a powerhouse! Not only does she have big and bold energy she's also absolutely heart-led and magical. She will give the shirt off of her back for someone and is always looking to help other people. I love her potty mouth and kind heart. She makes a traditional mustard bath soak that helps pull a fever during sickness and has a line of deodorant that flies off the shelves here. She's so thoughtful in her crafting of items and always wants a happy customer, plus, she keeps her prices very fair and reasonable.

Mandy - Journey.Woman.Wild.Craft

Mandy is another human I love to shout about from the rooftops. She doesn't pretend to be someone she is and she is so humble and gentle. She feels like Nature embodied. Not only that, but she is a wonderful steward for the land and does Forage and Feast events as well as an amazing Wild Woman's Campout every year. If you want to learn more about how to make food and forage from the land, Mandy is my favorite resource for that.

Dawn - The Boho Apothecary

Dawn is nestled right in Bentley, just across the valley from my property. She teaches children how to learn through play in Nature and creates all natural cleaning products and bath products as well. We have used her products well before we even moved to the area and they are an integral part of our home.

Lesley - Rough Cut Herbals

From herbal bath bombs for throat chakra activation to pain salves to miracle lip balm.... what Lesley crafts is pretty dang amazing. I personally use her magnesium spray in our home and I love the herbal infusions as well as the practicality of it - as a deodorant and also as a mineral that my body sometimes desperately needs. Not only does she craft giant bags of herbal teas, she also grows and forages many of the ingredients herself. One of a few tea blenders in Central Alberta that actually grows her own and doesn't resell and repackage bulk blends. She is the absolute real deal. Another Tea Witch that is so absolutely magical and powerful.

Chantal - Barefoot Pioneer

If you are looking for someone deeply rooted and connected to the land, this is your gal. She not only has a calm and grounding presence but she also has such wonderful joyful energy, especially when speaking about things she loves. I personally use her oxymels and her lip balm saved my lips last winter. You can be assured that what she is putting on her products comes from a place of deep care and reverence for the earth.

Sonja - Sonja's Herbs

In Central Alberta just West of Sylvan Lake lives a gentle herbalist with the most magnificent garden filled with so many beautiful medicinal plants. Sonja is a Herbalist and Health Coach and has also specialized in Integrative Nutrition. Sonja lovingly tends her garden throughout the growing season and is always making the most beautiful products. When I can't support someone with teas alone, Sonja is where I send them for deep herbalist support.
